[The Before Shots - Fort Greene, NY]

**DISCLAIMER: If you are not one of our moms, this post might be a bit boring. But moms, enjoy!!

Here are some shots inside the apartment - they're finishing up (so they say...) the final bits of renovation, and we're hopeful it'll be move-in-able in the next few days. It'll be fun to have some "before" pictures to compare the "after" shots to, once we're all settled. It's definitely the kind of place that will take some time and creativity (ahem, lack of closet space) to get just right - but there is so much potential in it, I can't wait to get started!

This is the best view, through the apartment. It's taken from the back room in the apartment (the "kitchen extension" we're calling it) through the middle (dining room?) to the front (living room) that faces the main street. To the right of where I'm standing, taking the picture, is the bathroom and the small kitchen area which is honestly the size of a closet, hence the "kitchen extension." To the left of the back room is the front door, as well as the small bedroom. Two sets of beautiful french doors divide the main room - my favorite detail!
This shot is taken from the front/living room, into the little bedroom area. They are putting a door up between the two tomorrow, along with glass in the side "window" area, so it will be private.

This is taken from the bedroom area into the living room. Those two big windows face out onto Dekalb Ave, giving us lots of sunlight!
This view is from the middle/dining room into the back/kitchen extension. The room is actually quite bigger than it looks here. The door to the bathroom is to the left of the fridge, and the door to the actual kitchen is to the right of it. Out those windows is a great roof space we plan to use as a little deck! Or at least a place to attempt to grow tomatoes, rosemary and such.
This is the little kitchen. The dishwasher and oven still have to be installed, right next to the sink, and they're changing the counter color as well. It's kind of a cute nook - just tiny!
The only closet in the whole place! We think it was an old Murphy bed or something - very neat, but not very practical...
Our "roof deck" - not that appealing in the slush, but I think it'll clean up nice in the summer!
Added perk - a beautiful armoire left behind by the last owner. Not only nice looking, but lots of good storage space.

Phew - I'm excited for the after pictures!
